Privacy Policy

Last updated: 22 October 2026

1. Who we are

This website (ampnation.co.uk) is run by AMP Nation ("we", "us"). We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy. You can contact us at info@ampnation.co.uk.

2. What data we collect and why

Custom design enquiries. If you use the "Design Your Own" form, we collect your name, email address, your message and, optionally, a file you upload (JPG, PNG or PDF). We use this only to reply to your request and to discuss or prepare your custom order. Our legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.

Emails you send us. If you email us, we keep your message and address so we can reply. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries.

Analytics (only with your consent). If you click "Accept" on our cookie banner, we use Google Analytics to see how visitors use the site (for example pages viewed, approximate location and device type). This uses cookies and similar technologies. Our legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time (see section 6). If you click "Reject", Google Analytics is not loaded.

Technical data. Like any website, our hosting and security providers process technical data such as your IP address and browser details to deliver the site and keep it secure. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website.

3. Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal data. We use the following service providers, who process data on our behalf or provide the technology the site relies on:

Our site also links to external services such as our Etsy shop and our Facebook, Instagram and TikTok pages. When you leave our site, those services' own privacy policies apply. Orders placed through Etsy are handled by Etsy, not by this website.

4. International transfers

Some of our providers (such as Google and Cloudflare) may process data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where this happens, we rely on the safeguards those providers use, such as the UK extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or approved standard contractual clauses.

5. How long we keep data

We keep custom design enquiries, uploaded files and related emails only as long as needed to deal with your request and for up to 24 months afterwards, unless we need to keep them longer for a legal reason (for example, an order we have fulfilled). Analytics data is kept according to our Google Analytics retention settings.

6. Cookies

We only set non-essential cookies if you accept them. If you accept, Google Analytics may set cookies whose names start with _ga. We also store your cookie choice in your browser's local storage so we do not ask you again on every visit. You can change your choice at any time:

7. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

To use any of these rights, email info@ampnation.co.uk. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to resolve your concern first.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
